ANTENATAL
(relevant to package 2 and 3)

  • Telephone consultation (approx. 8 weeks)
  • Booking appointment (after Nuchal scan; 11-14 weeks) around 2-3 hours
  • 16 weeks

All antenatal appointments are to ensure the health of mum and baby, and will allow plenty of time for pregnancy discussions, birth prep and postnatal prep. Plenty of time will be given if needed, but appointment generally will be 1-2 hours long.

If you choose to have antenatal screening (which is recommended) this is something I will be able to help you arrange either via the NHS or privately (at an extra cost).

INTRAPARTUM

I will be on call from 37+0 weeks until baby makes his/her arrival, to offer evidence based and Individualised intrapartum care to you in your own home. If your choose to labour/birth in a hospital or need to be transferred in from a homebirth I will be able to support you as an advocate but not provide any midwifery care due to local NHS Trust insurances. Once baby is born I will stay with you for a minimum of 2 hours after birth whether at hospital or home (this will vary client to client and depending on NHS trust policy). If birthing at home, my insurance required me to employ a 2nd independent midwife.

POSTNATAL
(relevant to package 2 and 4)

Alternate face-to-face and video calls for the first week, starting from the day after baby’s birth. (If baby is born in hospital I will visit on your first day home, but of course would be accessible via phone). Time of visits/calls can be discussed. NIPE test is not included in this price but theheal prick test is.

After the first week you will have 2 face to face appointments in week 2 and 1 face-to-face appointment in weeks 3 and 4. If more appointments are needed this can discussed and arranged.

Condensed Package

  • x3 antenatal appointments
  • Intrapartum care (x2 midwives being on-call from 37 until baby is born)Birth care/support can be at home or hospital.
  • x3 postnatal appointment.

Antenatal & Postnatal care

This package offer you all your maternity care before and after the birth of your baby.

Antenatal care

All antenatal and postnatal care – see above.

Package 5

Postnatal care

All postnatal care – see above.
I provide care for the first month of baby’s life (28 days).

Package 6

One-off session

I will offer individual appointments to anyone who would like to reach out for extra midwifery support antenatally or postnatally. These appointments will be 1-2 hours long and will take place in the comfort of your own home.

You can book as many of these appointments as you feel you need or want, depending on my availability.

Package 7

Pool Hire | La Bassine (regular x2)

The hire period is from 37 weeks until birth.

All pool’s come with an air pump, a water pump, a plastic cover for the pool, tubing and a tape adaptor.

The hirer will need to buy the appropriate disposable pool liner.

  • Clients are more than welcome to create a bespoke package which is tailored to their individual needs. i.e more or less antenatal or postnatal appointments
  • Multiple pregnancy will encue an increased fee
  • Clients are also entitled to a 25% discount on pool hire
  • Returning clients get 5% discount on all packages
  • Birthing ball and TEN’s machine are free to my clients, if available at the time
